"Recent" sorting

Interesting. This makes sense. Presumably the list would only be of the n most 'recent' files, and therefore would be quite a small file (which, to follow up the other earlier point, would just be backed up and restored with everything else)?

I am thinking of the list containing up to 1000 files. I haven't yet decided where the list would be located. It could be in a special (or designated) location in the user's library, which would be convenient for backup purposes.

This sounds like an interesting and useful development; I could have used the feature myself a couple of times recently. Let's hope that the implementation proves to be reasonably straightforward.

Simon, could you give us estimated date when new version of the MinimServer with this option will be released?

I know that a lot of users would like to see this feature added to MinimServer and it is high on my to-do list. I am unable to give any time estimate for when it is likely to be available.

Hi Simon, just to add that this facility would be brilliant. I added a few albums yesterday and I've already forgotten what they all were! It would make a nice Christmas present for Minim users.

So, Christmas is upon us. It seems as though Simon has not been able to give us the "recent sorting" functionality as a Christmas gift :-)
But hey, who knows, january 1st is coming up next :-)
