can't edit minimserver.config on Synology

After editing the minimserver.config file on a Synology RS812 / DSM 5.2 it saves the file well, with the changes. But when starting Minimserver again it places back the default minimserver.config file, so the edits doesn't take any effect.

You should always use minimwatch to set the preferences/configs. That way they'll stick (as that's how you're supposed to do it anyway).

As Skywatcher has said, you shouldn't edit this file directly. To make configuration changes, install MinimWatch on another computer on your local network. See this page for details.
