I'll follow the progress on the Raspberry Pi posts and put my questions there as it sounds as though it might be the same issue. Ken |

I should be receiving my Sonos PLAY:1 soon, which will enable me to investigate the problem in more detail. |

I am working on a technical solution to enable MinimStreamer to handle the new HLS streams. Wow, many thanks Simoncn for the BBC URL codes. I've just installed them into Shoutcast on my Synology with success. In fact it's about the only success I have had with the Synology and been searching for BBC access on the internet for some time to no avail. Not been able to use minimserver yet as kinsky (although see's minimserver), doesn't play. Progress in motion. Thank you, Alex |

What exactly do you mean by "installed them into Shoutcast on my Synology"? I would like to try this. Also, can you provide more information about "kinsky (although see's minimserver), doesn't play"? Which UPnP renderer are you using when you try to play these streams with Kinsky? |

Thank you, Alex Recently purchased synology 214 play which comes with a server called audiostation. This is connected to a usb dac that if I'm correct is the renderer ? Audiostation provides internet radio via shoutcast which provides a list of stations on offer but no bbc. Found you list here, copy and pasted into 'my favourites' and works well. Not sure of bit rates but sound quality is pretty good. Minimserver is installed on the synology via audiostation with Kinskey on iPad. Kinskey sees diskstation and minimserver on the diskstation but doesn't play, nothing is listed in 'rooms' or 'sources'. Only audiostation works. Make any sense ? |

RE: BBC radio streams not working
Hi, I am using MinimStreamer on my Synology NAS and listening on my Roberts 83i. I have set everything up, added the stations in the Frontier Silicon portal, however I find that Radio 3 works, but 5Live doesn't.
Anyone have any suggestions. I am using the BBCRadio.m3U file that was posted and my added URL's are: http://192.168.9.104:9790/minimstreamer/*/R3 (works) and http://192.168.9.104:9790/minimstreamer/*/R5 (connecting..loading..silence) Thanks. |

Is it the sample file that's linked from this page (step 3)? I have tried all these streams and they are working for me. Are you located outside the UK? This makes a difference to which streams are available. |
