Last Modified Playlist ?

Simon, I believe this may be a frequent request of sorts but I just used a control point which is the first I've used which integrates the feature into its default views.

Unfortunately this most excellent control point is not actually operable with my Moon MiND renderer, as it does not presently conform to the Open Home extension which apparently Lumin use (at least that why I think it doesn't see my renderer, maybe users of Linn renderers can confirm, as they do support Open Home)
Anyway the control point is the Lumin app, the current version just released and it has a view called 'Last Modified'.

Basically is lists your entire library in album view from top to bottom structured from most recently modified (so not necessarily added as such, but modified in any manner), very simply based upon date tag, which it shows below each album cover.

This is EXACTLY what I have been wanting to see in my usual app for the Moon MiND, I just haven't figured out a way to implement it !

It's so damn simple and gives a view essentially identical to what I see in iTunes, which is the interface I use to create and tag my files.
I'm not sure why no other control points that I've thus far used (about 5) haven't incorporated this most useful feature/view.

I add loads of music to my rapidly expanding 4tB library and lose track of stuff added even a month or less back, so this is great... Alas as I mentioned I can't actually make use of the Lumin app as it sees my library perfectly well, but not my renderer damn it !!

Please let me know how and if such functionality can be delivered by way of configuring a 'playlist' or similar within my control point.

Thanks again- btw: Lumin specifically recommend MinimServer for use with their devices....which are top shelf, and priced accordingly :-)

MinimServer sends the standard HTTP Last-Modified header on the HTTP response when the control point or renderer accesses an audio file. The LUMIN app is reading this header. To see this information in your other control point, you would need to ask the developers of the other control point to add the capability to read the HTTP Last-Modified header.

Another option is to use BubbleUPnP Server (not the BubbleUPnP control point) to "proxy" your renderer with support for the OpenHome protocol. This should solve the compatibility issue betwen the LUMIN app and your renderer.

I have written to the developers with a request for OpenHome support, but I'm also interested in your suggestion above.
Precisely how do I configure BubbleUPnP Server to "proxy" my renderer ?
Does it need to be run "on top of" Minimserver ??
I'm not entirely savvy with the intricacies of UPnP :^]

Please disregard my last post, I have installed Bubble Server and it is functioning absolutely flawlessly with the Lumin app and my Moon MiND renderer.
Bubble Server has improved functionality of my entire renderer interface by virtue of the Lumin app which is just way ahead of the curve compared to any other control points I have used thus far, in virtually all respects.

Simon I'm wondering if you may have any suggestions regarding the following...
My MiND renderer can access vTuner radio from its own Moon MiND control point, and apparently the Lumin renderers can access TuneIn radio via the Lumin control point.

Now that I have the superb Lumin control point functioning flawlessly together with my MiND renderer thanks to your suggestion of using BubbleUPnp Server alongside MinimServer, the only function which is not presently available to me when running it is radio access.

Apparently when using the Lumin control point with the Lumin renderer an option appears in the settings pop up of the control point app to select radio, however this menu item does not appear in my case.
Do you have any idea of how these radio functions are implemented, or more to the point, how I may be able to regain radio access whilst using the Lumin app with my MiND renderer ?!?!

I searched through the BubbleUPnpServer help files but didn't find anything relevant to radio stream access...

I don't use LUMIN and I can't help with this. Can you contact the LUMIN developers for advice?

Before Lumin added Radio support directly in the app, I used MinimStreamer to get radio streams in Lumin. This may work for your situation.

Should have said that as Lumin now supports Playlists directly, you don't need the Kinsky workaround. Just set up a playlist .m3u file of your radio stations, go into the folder view and select playlists
