Hi Simon,

The chances were good. I will test it now to be sure and get back to you shortly.

Ron

Please also check whether there is a sequence of actions that reproduces the crash. Many thanks!

Yes, I can reproduce this problem consistently.
I will also inform Olive about the problem in their app.

Thanks very much! I have reproduced the crash by sending incorrect XML to MinimServer and I think this is almost certainly the cause of the problem.

I have also verified the fix, so I don't think it's necessary for me to build a test version. The fix will be available in the next update.

RE: MinimServer stopped by Olive One App (Android)
Hi Simon,

I could not get MinimServer to crash while running the Olive One, sorry. Smile

One odd thing I did notice is that the One seemed to see (maybe request) a bitrate that was not that of the files on the server. Maybe Olive is doing a number of odd things. I will research and report back after I discuss with Olive.

Best regards,
Ron

No problem. I am confident that the fix I am testing will solve this crash.

The bitrate field in the UPnP DIDL-Lite data sent by the server to the control point is actually a byte rate (one eighth of the true bitrate). Some control points don't handle this correctly.

RE: MinimServer stopped by Olive One App (Android)
Thank you Simon,

I will double-check what the Olive One is saying on its screen. That said, I will stop goofing around with the Olive One and wait until they get another build or two out for the firmware.

Best regards,

Ron
