RE: Melco Audiophile NAS
I see firmware version 2.30 has been released by Melco but their site is totally lacking any details.
I downloaded the updated user manual and had flick through menus on my N1A but have failed to spot any differences other than an updated twonky version, what happened to the cd ripping feature they demoed at bristol show?

RE: Melco Audiophile NAS
I've just had a look on the Melco site but it's still showing 2.20. There's mention of 2.30 being released in the news section, but if you click on this it just takes you to the enquiry section.

Does this mean that MinimServer will never be included in melco's firmware?

Also noticed on the Dela site (Japan Melco) that from March 11th there is an upgrade service, Google Translate the site and see the links, not sure if this goes WW but what if they offered HDD to SSD upgrades or newer internal components for example, could be interesting development for keeping their kit current?

RE: Melco Audiophile NAS
Hi folks, I managed (after a few glitches) to put Minimserver on my Melco, many thanks Simon! The only problem I'm having is that certain albums don't show on the Kinsky app. I'm using. They are definitely on the HD, just not being picked up. Any suggestions please?

Hvae you checked the MinimServer log for error messages? To do this, you need to install MinimWatch on another computer on your local network.

RE: Melco Audiophile NAS
OK, looked at the log, & there are a few error messages relating to unexpected end of tracks. I've noticed all the missing music is in the untagged section, and almost all are WAV files.
