I'm confused
I have the original Minimserver free version. it works great. But if I upgrade my NAS or buy a New iMac if I want to continue using Minimserver I have to buy a new more elaborate version with features I don't want or need. The cost is totally irrelevant. The amount of time I'll waste is not. Is this all correct?

I presume you currently have MinimServer 0.8.x.
You can install MinimServer 2 Starter Edition with no need to purchase or install a license. This version is missing some features that were available in MinimServer 0.8.x. See this page for details. If you need more features than are available in Starter Edition, you can have all the features that were in MinimServer 0.8.x (as well as many new features) by installing MinimServer 2 and purchasing and installing a full license. This should take only a few minutes. |
