Empty playlists

Hi,

I have read various threads about correct format for playlists but I'm still getting empty playlists.

Playlist title displays but no files.

folder structure is:

music/FLAC
music/Playlists

Question: the FLAC folder is mapped as "Music" in minimserver does it need to be mapped as "FLAC"?

example playlist:

#EXTINF:284,Metals - 1 - The Bad in Each Other
../FLAC/F/Feist/Metals/01 ~ The Bad in Each Other.flac
#EXTINF:257,Metals - 2 - Graveyard

What do you mean by 'mapped'? Please provide more details of your setup.

Thanks for clarifying. When running MinimServer in a container, the relative paths in your playlists need to match mapped paths, not original shared folder paths.

I don't see a mapping for /music/Playlists. If you are mapping this to /Playlists in the container, you would need to add /Playlists to your contentDir settings and you would need to map /music/FLAC to /FLAC.

I did have a music/Playlists folder mapped to /Playlists but this caused MinimServer to be completely inaccessible in both Kodi and MediaMonkey.

I will have an experiment with changing the folder mapping and let you know what I find.

Is there a reason why you don"t want to just map /music to /Music (as recommended in the MinimServer instructions) instead of mapping individual subfolders separately?

Yes there are multiple reasons including music I don't want to be indexed/served in various subfolders and the use of different folder structures and naming conventions, this setup gives me much greater control and organisation of my music.
