MinimServer and Streamer 2 for QNAP

Hi Simon,

which payment methods are available for purchasing MinimServer 2 License ? creditcard, paypal ... ?

You can pay by PayPal or credit card.

I sent the files to QNAP on 23 September and this is currently in QNAP's testing process. They have not given me an availability date.

hopefully qnap will do this before the minimstreamer license expires

If either QNAP or Synology doesn't make this available in time, I will extend the expiry date.

This is wrong, only payment by paypal is offered. I don't want to use paypal, and I'm not the only one. If payment by credit card is not offered, I will skip my turn.

I have had one report of being unable to pay by card, from someone in France. Which country are you in?

I am sorry for the inconvenience of not being able to pay by credit card from France. I have discussed this with PayPal and they were not able to explain the reason for this or provide a solution. As far as I know, the "Buy Now" screen shows a "pay by card" option in all other countries. When I wrote the post saying that you can pay by card, I was not aware of this issue of being unable to pay by card from France.

At present, I can offer the alternative of paying by bank transfer in EUR, GBP or USD. Please send me a PM if you would like to do this. In the future, I intend to add a new checkout for card payments using a different payment processor but it will take some time for me to set this up and integrate it with the license issuing process.

Thanks for your prompt response. I will wait for the problem to be resolved, and for payment by credit card to be available for France. Maybe it's a 'Brexit' issue? The biggest problem is that my Qnap wants to update MinimServer to version 2, and that by doing the update, I would lose my custom settings using the Starter Edition.

I hope the solution will be found soon.
