MinimServer wont´start on Synology NAS
Hi everyone, I am new to MinimServer and have a problem getting it to work.
After installing the latest Java version on my synology, I also installed MinimServer through the DSM. This application will not start, I keep receiving error messages and it is not running. Package service cannot be started. Service stopped.

Any Ideas ?

Attached is the error message as screen shot.

Log file returns the following message:

MinimServer start error: /volume1/@appstore/MinimServer/minim.sh: line 34: /var/packages/Java8/target/j2sdk-image/jre/bin/java: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error.

Any help is kindly appreciated. Cheers, schneeforscher

It sounds like you have downloaded the wrong version of Java. What model of NAS do you have and what is the exact name of the Java file that you downloaded?

You need the ARM 32 version of Java. See step 4 of this section.
