MinimServer on Synology DS116

Hello there. I wonder is MinimServer compatible with Synology DS116. I can't find it in any list of Synology's models (Intel or ARM models). If it's compatible in which group of models I can place DS116?

PS. Is DS116 good enough to play/stream DSD & HiRes 24/192 FLAC files without any problems? It has got Marvell Armada 385 88F6820 1,8 GHz (Dual-core) and 1GB RAM. I wanted to buy DS115J earlier but it has got weak specification in my opinion to play DSD & HiRes files without gaps.

The DS116 is an ARMv7 model and it is compatible with MinimServer. I will update the web page to add it to the list. Thanks for letting me know about this.

The CPU on this model is more than powerful enough to do everything you have mentioned.

And what about DS115J? CPU is 800MHz single-core processor with 256MB of RAM. Is this configuration will handle with HiRes files too?

I would not recommend this model. The CPU and RAM are both barely adequate for what you want to do.

Thanks for the answers. Last question: occasionally I want to stream MKV files (with high video bitrate and DTS HD-MA audio tracks) to Dune BD Prime 3.0 or tablet. Is it possible with DS116?

MinimServer is for audio only and doesn't support MKV files.

Ok, thanks. Another question: DSD support. What kind of DSD files does MinimServer support - only DSD64 or with higher bitrate too?

Any sample rate should work but I have not been able to try anything higher than DSD256.

I bought few days ago DS116 and installed MinimServer. Works perfectly. Minimal CPU and RAM usage. But two things. No support for Musepack files. No support for cue sheet with single album's audio files. Will it change in a future?
