Install/startup errror

Hi

I have minimserver installed on synology 214play and it works fine.

I have minimserve and minimwatch on a W7 laptop - both work fine.

However, I'm trying to install minimwatch on my main W7 PC and when I try to run it I get the following error message before any program interface opens:

"MinimWatch: subnet 255.255.255.0 not found"

There is only an OK button and no other options. Clicking the button closes the program.

The only thing I did before that was to install the 64bit version but that didn't run so I uninstalled that and installed the 32 bit version.

I'm stuck now so would really welcome any help please.

This message is produced when the MinimWatch configuration property ohnet.subnet has been set to an incorrect subnet value. Have you previously set this property, or have you copied a minimwatch.config file from another machine that has this property set?

To fix this problem, you need to edit your minimwatch.config file to remove the incorrect setting. Alternatively, you can delete the minimwatch.config file.

The minimwatch.config file is in the folder

C:\Users\<your-user-name>\AppData\Roaming\MinimWatch\data

The AppData folder is hidden by Explorer, so you need to type this full path into the Explorer address bar.

You can delete this file or you can edit it with Notepad and remove the line

ohnet.subnet = 255.255.255.0

After doing this, you should be able to start MinimWatch.
