Transcoding settings are encoded in the track URLs that the control-point app loads from MinimServer. When you change transcoding settings, you need to refresh these URLs. The simplest way to do this is usually to browse up one level in the index hierarchy, then browse down again. Restarting MinimServer or rebooting the RPi has the same effect because the control point must then refresh the URLs that it stored previously.
