RE: Feature request: index value formatting

I do not understand why indexTags influences indexFormat sequence elaboration. The order of tags in the indexTags list has no effect on indexFormat processing. What do you mean by "does not work"? Do you get an error or is the formatting not done correctly? Perhaps the problem is that you cannot format a tag if it already has a value. |

RE: Feature request: index value formatting
I just double-checked the topic by doing the following:
- I added a new index tag "test" to my index tag list containing a tag "composer" (among others) and inserted it at the beginning of the list. - I added a tagValue instruction test.indexValue={composer} (first tagValue instruction of the instruction list) Result: composer has a valid tag value, test remains empty (no tag) I think, this is an simple test case you could double-check on your side as well. B.t.w. the version I am working with is 0.8.3. |

Did you do a Restart after making these changes? Do you have the latest update (update 83) installed? Edit: How are you checking the value of 'test'? I am looking in the 'test' index. |
