Smart playlists ?

Just wondering if there is any plans to implement smart (i.e. Dynamic) playlists? In particular I am interested in Recently Played. Maybe list the last 100 or 200 played songs? I guess OpenHome renderers like Jplay do not have this capability so BubbleUPnP only shows the first song in a playlist in its Recent list.

I am hoping to add support for Recently Played in a future release of MinimServer.

I don'r understand this comment. I'm away from home at present and I'm not able to run BubbleUPnP to verify how it handles its Recent list. Can you explain this in a bit more detail?

Sure...I verified this with the BubbleUPnP developer. When using OpenHome renderers, Bubble's Recents list does not work properly. It only displays the first song in a playlist. For example, if you have a playlist of 10 songs, only the first song will be shown in the Recents list. Once this playlist is done playing and you add another song(s) to it or create another one, again only the first song will be shown in Bubble's Recent list. The next release of Bubble will not show any Recents for OpenHome renderers according to the dev.

I guess BubbleUPnP (app) stores internally a list of tracks played. The problem is with OpenHome the app won't actually know if the track in the list has been played (as this is a function of the device).
