Help
Please forgive my ignorance but I'm really stuck. I have a Chord Hugo DAC/Headphone Amp. I'm trying to play files off my network on my Galaxynote 4. I have installed App called "USB Audio Pro" as suggested by Chord and when I click on network it wants an smb address. Chord recommend using minimserver to use on the network. Well I've installed minimserver on my PC (Windows 7), it's scanned my music folders and is now there is an icon in the taskbar that says "MinimServer is running". Now what?
I'm hoping someone out there will have the patience to explain to me what this minimserver is doing and what I am supposed to do to get "USB Audio Pro" to see my network. Many thanks in advance. |

You need a UPnP control point and renderer (player) that can run on the Galaxy Note 4 and send audio to your USB DAC. USB Audio Pro doesn't support UPnP, only SMB. Instead, you can use BubbleUPnP. See this thread for more information. |
