Thanks for this. I have reproduced the problem using your .mcache files and I have fixed it in update 34. Many thanks for your help with finding and fixing this problem.

You're welcome! The only puzzle is why rebuilding the .mcache files got it going again. I would have expected that the problem I found would occur every time the jazz_pop_rock folder was selected.

Edit: The problem would occur only when doing a Restart without a Rescan or when running with startupScan set to false. Does this match what you were doing?

No. My startupScan is set to true. The crash happened whenever I tried to access [folder view] from my control point; I could browse in other ways (by composer, artist, whatever) without crashing. When the first crash happened, I restarted MinimServer via MinimWatch, got the nice green icon, played music by selecting artist-->album and then crashed again when I wanted to browse by folder. Since most of my listening is classical, I probably did not try to access the rock_jazz_pop folder at first; then when I asked for [folder view], it encountered whatever was defective there.

If you restarted MinimServer by selecting Restart (not Rescan) from MinimWatch, this would trigger the problem that I fixed.

Ah, OK. That's probably what I did, since I hadn't added any new files. But it was 3-4 days ago so can't remember for certain.
