Beta testers wanted for Sklad, a UPnP/OpenHome control point (iOS + Android)
I'm building Sklad, a control point for local libraries and network players. I've developed it against MinimServer from the start, and I need help with the one thing I can't buy: players I don't own. My thanks to Simon for allowing this post.
Disclosure first, so nobody feels ambushed later: I wrote it, and it will be a paid app — €14.99 a year with a 14-day trial. My test bench is a Hegel H95 and a Cambridge MXN10, with MinimServer behind them and BubbleUPnP Server as an OpenHome proxy. That is two of the several hundred combinations people actually run, and I would much rather hear about the rest from you than read it in a one-star review. What would help most — players: Linn, Naim, Auralic, Lumin, HEOS (Marantz/Denon), WiiM, Volumio or another Linux renderer, Aurender, Technics, Yamaha MusicCast, Eversolo. If your gear is already on the tested list at gantticore.com/sklad you're still welcome, but places go first to things nobody has tried yet. The deal: the first 50 reports from setups I haven't tested get the app for good — no subscription, ever.
Feedback is welcome right here in this thread too — what works, what doesn't, what you miss. If something fails, please also tap Send report: it tells me what the devices actually said, which is usually the part a description can't. What Sklad is: it finds the UPnP/DLNA and OpenHome devices on your network and then gets out of the way. The phone is never in the signal path — the server streams straight to the player. Library browsing by album, artist, composer, genre, folder and year, built for collections too big for one screen; OpenHome queues that live on the device; internet radio; direct IP control for Hegel amplifiers; wake-from-standby for Cambridge StreamMagic players. What it is not: no Qobuz, no Tidal, no Roon, and no playback on the phone itself. You need your own UPnP server and player. Ask here first if you'd rather — I read everything, and I'll say honestly whether your gear is likely to work. Senad |

You listed Bluesound/BlueOS.
They don’t support UPnP/OpenHome as far as I know. |

(Today 13:18)Stake Wrote: You listed Bluesound/BlueOS. You're right, thanks. BluOS players can play from a UPnP server through their own app, but they don't expose a UPnP or OpenHome renderer that a control point could drive. I've taken them off the list. |
