Rescanning WAVs
In WAV tag editor I can choose with a checkbox INFO Chunk or leave it unchecked. Currently the default settings in INFO Chunk = checked.

What would be the best option though?

I am looking into this as rescanning for metadata updates does not always bring up retagged WAV in Recently Added.

RE: Rescanning WAVs
There are two different ways to tag WAV files: INFO and ID3v2. MinimServer reads ID3v2 tags but does not read INFO tags.

If there is an INFO tag, MinimServer ignores this tag when rescanning. If an INFO tag or an ID3v2 tag is modified, MinimServer reads the file again when rescanning (because the file has been modified) but does not add the file to the Recently Added list. This is because the file has not been added to the library, only modified.

RE: Rescanning WAVs
Thanks. I double checked meta editor and that writes both ID3v2 and INFO, unfortunately.
I guess I'm going to remove INFO tag / INFO chunk and redo. Do you think this makes sense?

RE: Rescanning WAVs
You don't need to remove INFO tags. As I said in my previous post, MinimServer ignores any INFO tags and reads ID3v2 tags instead.
