[resolved] random play / items with the same title

hi.

following case: genre pop contains records from Elton John, best of, live recordings, original recordings. some records contain music items with exactly the same title, let's say rocket man. I want to play the entire list of items in random order.

current situation: if rocket man shows up for the first time, all rocket man items will be played sequentially ignoring the random order. rocket man is on position 100,101,102

it should be something like 100,389,1001

can I make use of config settings to get this happen ?

MinimServer doesn't support randomised sorting of lists. Some control points (for example, BubbleUPNP) provide this capability.
