naim app has quit seeing minimserver

when first installed on my mac osx el capitan minimserver worked just fine. log says minimserver is running, icon is transparent, but the server has quit showing up on the Naim App. I am playing an ethernet wired Naim Muso. Anybody else run into this particular glitch? I am not terribly profficient with computers and workarounds. But I can generally follow instructions.. keep in mind I am a newbie!

This might be a firewall issue. If you have the Mac firewall active, this needs to include an entry allowing MinimServer to receive incoming connections.
