OK, thanks. This is a difficult issue to solve and I think we have checked all the usual causes of such problems.

If I had this problem, I would test wth the switch removed and see whether the problem happens with a network consisting of just the router with the music PC and Linn streamer connected using wired connections and nothing else connected (either wired or wireless).

If this still shows the problem, I would substitute another router.

If this still shows the problem, the problem is proven to be an issue with configuration or software in the music PC.
