Scam message from this forum?

Just want to alert you to the possibility that phoney message which I received might have been malicious. It was a "New Reply" message and I checked the thread directly and found there were no new replies.

If I had clicked the first email link it would have gone to a domain called aqerapahoj.uhostfull.com which may well have been untrustworthy. I didn't try it of course!

Never click links in email even when apparently from this forum.

The spam message was deleted by a forum administrator and this is why you did not see it when you visited the thread.

The forum uses various methods to prevent spam but some spam does occasionally get though. It is annoying but usually easy to identify.
