Minimserver behaving abnormally - ham_firl@singnet.com.sg - 17-07-2026 20:30 Help. Suddenly my Minimserver on my Lumin app behaving wierd. I hv Minimserver running and i can rescan from the "9790" web screen. Why i did not see the minimserver name when I look for it in my lumin app.? I do not have the regular minimserver tab on my lumin screen. And I dont have the full album cover when I browse it. Recently I upgraded my wifi from another service provider. Then this problem happens. May need to toggle some setting from the new router blocking the UPnP multicast data. So I want to clear the minimserver paert before checking with the netwrok service provider. RE: Minimserver behaving abnormally - simoncn - 17-07-2026 21:41 As a first step, try powering off all your network equipment, then power it on in the order decribed on the Troubleshooting page. If this doesn't help, you need to change your router settings. Already done but not yet change the router setting. Not sure it is set to enable or disable. Need to wait on Monday to chk with the vendor. Hi again, I managed to access the router & changed the setting to on for the UPnP and the multicast. Reboot the router and modem, reinstalled Lumin and Minimserver, still the same screenshot 110827 shows the config from Asustor ADM Minimserver page screenshot 110930 shows the config from <my NAS ipadress to 9790> RE: Minimserver behaving abnormally - simoncn - 18-07-2026 08:53 Do you have IGMP snooping in the router set to Off? This is the important setting to make UPnP work. Really cant get Lumin to link to Minimserver at all. When its online, its runing without Minimserver, can still stream like from HDD directly. RE: Minimserver behaving abnormally - stefano_mbp - 18-07-2026 18:50 Are Minimserver, Lumïn app, Lumïn streamer on the same subnet? For example 192.168.1.x RE: Minimserver behaving abnormally - Stake - 18-07-2026 20:57 (18-07-2026 12:05)ham_firl@singnet.com.sg Wrote: I set this to off, resetted the router, the "My Digital Music" directory went offline in Lumin. E.g. mConnect, BubbleUPnP, foobar mobile? Or maybe your SmartTV?
