indexArtwort for alphagroup - ischowam - 22-03-2026 23:28 Hi all I am using the properties: alphagroup: artist serverOptions: artworkFolder=000_ Artwork In that folder I put on top-level a picture for each letter "A", "B", etc. In order to avoid, that an image file is used for a different tag, which has the same value (e.g. arists and albumname are the same, but you want one for the artists and one for the cover-artwork), you can create subfolders with the tagname as the foldername. I am wondering, if that is also possible for the alphagrouping? What would the required folder-name be? In my case I have the issue, that the image for letter "M" is now being used for the track "Pop Muzik" from the band "M" as well. ![]() Georg RE: indexArtwort for alphagroup - simoncn - 23-03-2026 13:52 In this situation you should put the image for the artist M in the index000_Artwork/Artist folder and the image for the letter M in the index000_Artwork folder. There is no specific artwork subfolder for letter images. RE: indexArtwort for alphagroup - ischowam - 25-03-2026 10:50 OK, thanks for the clarification, Simon. AI had been absolutely sure about, that it is working and that the folder needs to be named "alphagroup" ![]() I also tried others before. As it is just one or two files, I won't look for an artist-image. Maybe I will add a blank to the name or something similar, so that it differs from "M" Georg RE: indexArtwort for alphagroup - simoncn - 25-03-2026 15:25 MinimServer removes trailing blanks and other "white space" characters from tag values. Something like a period or minus would be OK. RE: indexArtwort for alphagroup - ischowam - 25-03-2026 16:12 Thanks for the hint. RE: indexArtwort for alphagroup - simoncn - 25-03-2026 17:01 Also, in case it wasn't clear from my earlier post, you wouldn't need to put all artist images in an Artist subfolder to resolve the conflict, only the image for artist M. |
