Need help in selecting content path to QNAP directory - Beemer - 13-03-2026 16:02

I have been using MinimServer without problems but now want to change the content directory. The existing directory is /share/Multimedia and I want to change this to another directory on the same QNAP NAS. This now to be: homes/Ian/IansMusic directory which already exists and is populated with music files. When I try to do this MinimServer says 'Must be a directory; correct highlighted value and retry'.
It would have been helpful if MS allowed browsing to the NAS directory.
What must I do to allow this change? My MS is licensed.

I think the top directory has to be '/share'.

...otherwise you have to make sure that you have shared the folder for network access.

You need to add a / before homes. The content directory doesn't need to be a shared folder.
