iPad and IPhone do not play my files - JKent - 03-01-2026 20:51

Hello all,
This is my first post and I’m coming from the world of Roon. I’m running MinimServer from an M2 MacMini with 16 Gb ram. My renderer is an iFi ZenStream. I am able to play files from the Mac, but when playing with remote devices, ZenStream right hand light is off, indicating that it is not receiving stream. My remotes show the files and tracks but do not show cover art. The track appears to be playing.
Unfortunately my png. Screenshot from my photo library showing file path does not seem to appear.[attachment=3498]

The screenshot is attached to your post and the URLs look OK. Which control app was used to produce the screenshot?

Is the selector on your Ifi still on “Roon only”?

When I used Preview I was unable to see my screenshot. After actual post appeared I saw screenshot.

Hi Peter, I have never been able to lock into “Roon only” in position 2. Therefore, I always leave selector in position 1 “All in One. Use for set up”.
Do you think I should try a different position?

I have tried repeatedly, and ZenStream always reverts to WiFi.

Please try creating a MinimServer debug log. This will show whether the ZenStream is attempting to read files from MinimServer.

1) On the Mac Mini, select Show log from the MinimServer menu bar icon
2) In the log window, change the logging level to Debug
3) Leave the log window open and try to play a file
4) From the log window, select "Save as..." and save the log window contents as a file
5) Zip or compress the log file (this step is important) and attach the compressed log file to a post here
