Which version should I download? - Andy S - 16-06-2024 18:13

I have just joined the forum because I want to install the MinimServer v2.2 on my Synology DS220+ NAS.
I am hoping this can manage my large music and playlist library (33,000 files) and serve it to my recently acquired Naim NDX Streamer using UPnP..

The NAS CPU is a Celeron J40256 2-core 2.0 GGHz.
I am running DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 5.

I am confused by the list of options offered on the MinimServer downloads page: x64, x86, ARMv8, ARMV7, ARMv5.

Can someone help me out by telling me which version to use and why?

Many thanks,
Andy

Thanks to Google, I found a link to this article.

It looks like I need the x64 version for Intel chips.

I will give it try.

On a Synology NAS, it is best to install MinimServer from the DSM Package Center. See this section for details of how to do this.
