The initial BubbleUPnP display can be a little busy so I recommend making the following changes for a pure UPnP setup:

More > Settings (Cog wheel) > Library:
    Enable 'Track number'
    Whilst you're here you can also disable (if you're not going to use them) from the 'Virtual folders' section:
        Bookmarks
        Saved playlists
        Recently Played
        Random tracks/Random albums
More > Settings > Local and Cloud:
    Disable 'Enable Local and Cloud Library' (Functionality to allow you to access not only local files, but also Qobuz, TIDAL, SMB Shares, personal cloud storage e.t.c)
    Exit the app and restart as requested
More > Settings > Local Renderer:
    Disable 'Allow remote control' (Can cause unnecessary background battery usage)
More > Settings > Look and feel:
    Enable 'Show Devices tab'
    Change 'Side menu icon location' to 'Disabled'

Then you simply navigate from right to left:
    Devices (Speaker icon) >     Select your speaker and the Library from which to play music
    Library (Folder Icon) >      Browse to your album/tracks and enqueue/play
    Playlist (List icon) >       The current renderers active queue and the progress within it
    Now Playing (Musical Note) > Shows the metadata of the current track and its progress
    More (Hamburger Menu Icon) > Exit App

The MinimServer icon will be on the devices tab, and clicking the vertical ellipsis will bring up the Rescan library option.

That just gives me a Reload option, nothing else.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Without knowing exactly how you've configured BubbleUPnP it's difficult to give you precise instructions, but you should see the MinimServer icon somewhere in BubbleUPnP (usually the devices tab) and it'll be to the right of that.

If you still can't find it, set it up as I described here.

I haven't touched BubbleUPnP configuration at all since I installed. However your mention of an 'icon' has pointed me in the right direction.

I observed when in the Library tab and when either hitting the pull-down tab beside the Library name at the top or the three horizontal lines, then 'Select Library' shows the icons of all the libraries and then clicking the three dots you mentioned does bring up the Rescan option
