Can I assume the BBC have now stopped the stream? Not exactly, they've added or enabled authorisation protocols so that they can only be streamed via 'authorised' partners, and unfortunately have not as yet agreed to authorise Minimserver as a partner. I'd recommend reading through this thread for information that might provide further enlightenment, though. Great.... good luck, RE: Restriction of BBC Radio HLS/DASH to authorised third parties - simoncn - 23-11-2023 19:11 I am sorry that you were offended by my response to your post. I have sent you a PM about this. RE: Restriction of BBC Radio HLS/DASH to authorised third parties - tommyrot - 06-09-2024 09:54 Simon, Apologies if I've missed any notices posted elsewhere, but I can't see any. I was wondering if there had been any movement on discussions with the BBC as to becoming an 'approved' stream provider (or whatever grand term they use). Is there anything to report? Thanks. RE: Restriction of BBC Radio HLS/DASH to authorised third parties - simoncn - 06-09-2024 10:29 There have not been any new developments regarding this. MinimStreamer can play any stream for which there is a working URL (BBC or otherwise). Some users have been able to find working URLs for the BBC streams. This is not ideal but it is better than not being able to play the BBC streams at all.
