Hi,
I have a very frustrating problem which is baffling to me but I hope the experts here will be able to solve for me. Please!

System: Melco N1 running latest edition MinimServer, Linndemann MusicBook DAC and I am using the Lindemann app as control point. I also have MusicLife for the same purpose. I also have a QNAP NAS also running MS2.2 as backup and the problem is the same for both NAS and Melco. The whole network is ethernet Cat5 other than the control point app (obvi) which is running on iPhone 14. MinimWatch appears to be functioning correctly foe both NAS and Melco. The servers are listed on both Lindemann and MusicLife apps and the music albums appear in their respective folders on the apps. The apps are set to play all tracks.

Problem: When I choose an album to play, the first track is played OK but, 1) the progress bar showing the time into the track does not move and 2) the second and subsequent tracks fail to play.

Attempted resolution: I have deleted and reinstalled the apps, I have re-booted the servers and the nuclear option, I have deleted all music from the Melco and re-loaded it (several TB's!)

Can someone please help me out there? Thanks in advance!!

OK, I am replying to myself here but...

When I choose my iPhone as the audio output, the tracks play sequentially and without issue! So, by a process of deduction, I am assuming that the Lindemann is the issue rather than the server. Is that reasonable??

Progress updates are sent by the renderer to the control point. The server is not involved. It sounds like the Lindemann control point is losing contact with the Lindemann renderer.
