Licence Extension Failed - keithsonic - 07-11-2022 13:45 Extended 2.1 licence today but can't activate and all systems are down. Minimwatch on Windows 11 initially went red (no connection) but is now greyed out. Minimserver on QNAP is running but when started says no connection to 102.168.1.19 (the NAS address). Minimserver is not visible from Control Point app. Minimserver library is not accessible from JRiver. Tried rebooting/restarting to no avail. Have I missed something I need to do when extending licence? RE: Licence Extension Failed - simoncn - 07-11-2022 14:23 The error you are seeing means that MinimServer is not running on your NAS. Please check the minimserver.log file in the MinimServer shared folder on your NAS. You can access this file using File Station. Do you see an error message in this file? The sh log only goes up to 28/10 when it shows Minimserver process starting and the other log says the current date is 28/10. Neither log shows any errors. I was using MS today before the licence renewal when everything stopped working. RE: Licence Extension Failed - simoncn - 07-11-2022 15:38 Renewing the license would not cause MinimServer to stop running. Try stopping MinimServer from the App Center and starting it again. If MinimServer appears to start successfully, try clicking Open. Does this show the MinimServer configuration page? RE: Licence Extension Failed - keithsonic - 07-11-2022 15:47 Tried reinstalling and M.2 drive failed so that was probably the reason for lost connection. Will rebuild in next couple of days and see what happens. |
