BBC streams not available - PeterG - 03-01-2022 00:09
Just installed minimstreamer (2.0.9) for the first time following the user guide and using the correctly renamed sample playlists. They show up on my UPnP renderer (T+A MP2000R) but for every selected stream I get 'not available'. Are they restricted to UK only? I reside in Germany.

The sample BBC streams are UK only. For international streams, change uk/dash_full to nonuk/dash_low (MPEG-DASH) or change uk/sbr_high to nonuk/sbr_low (HLS).

Both playlists work now, but in poor quality of 96 kbit/s only.
So for me it's not really of interest anymore.

These stations are just examples to demonstrate how to create a .m3u playlist for radio stations. You can create playlists for many other stations of higher quality. You just need to find the stream URLs (not always easy).
