Hi Simon,
I am in a kind of loop trying to download a new version 2.1.
Melco page refers to release notes, the links "see here for versions and downloads" refers to "Melco page"
I am searching for half an hour now. What do I miss?

On the Melco front panel, select Settings > Music Database > Version Check. You should be prompted to install MinimServer 2.1.

I found update feature on the Melco itself. I did Version check. Melco found the 2.1 update.
Update gave update error : (error 043)

Did this work on your system? It produced (error 043) in my system 2 hours ago.
I will try again not playing music.

Just jet stopped playing music. Tryed again to update. Same error.
Rebooted the Melco, Mimimserver message popped up about new 2.1 version.

Sounds like you may need to update your Melco firmware before installing MS 2.1. See this thread:

FWIW, my Melco N1Z Mk. 1 is on firmware version 3.93, which is the most recent version for non-EX Melcos. I was able to update to MS 2.1 without a hitch.

Yes, just jet updated to version 3.93
Is the latest version running on my Melco N1z.
Did version check and updated to version 2.1
