Hi, I've just installed with a trial, as the free version gave reduced functionality. The problem is that using my media streamer, MiniServer only shows the first 20 folders in my music collection, which contains 1300 folders. Also, when I browse using Folder View, nothing will play!
Any ideas would be appreciated.

The folder view functionality is not limited in the free version. Which UPnP control point (the app that you use to view music and select it for playing) are you using?

Hi Simon, Thanks for your reply. I'm using an Opera Consonance D-7 music streamer. It only shows the 1st 20 folders in my music partition. If I look at the 'Folder view', then I can see them all (1300 folders) but cannot play anything with this view/search. The D-7 works perfectly when using an inserted USB stick, but not browsing my PC or my NAS.

According to this post, the D-7 works well with BubbleUPnP (Android app) as the control point. Are you able to try this?

Thanks Simon, I looked at Bubble this morning, but didn't bother with it as on the home page it clearly says - "BubbleUPnP Server is not an UPnP/DLNA media server: it does not index your media."
As I thought that I NEEDED a media server, I didn't go any further with it. I'll install and try it - thanks.
EDIT - - Thanks also for the link, which mentions upgraded hardware for the D7. I've installed Bubble, but the issues/limitations with MinimServer still exist - it will not view more than 20 folders in my music folder, containing 1308 folders! It does 'see' them using the 'Folder View', but will not play anything from that location. If you have any ideas as to why, I'd be glad to hear your suggestions.
I'm now investigating the possibility of getting a later board fro the D7.
I'll keep you informed.

BubbleUPnP (an Android app) isn't the same as BubbleUPnP Server. Which of these did you install? My suggestion was to try using BubbleUPnP to view your MinimServer library and play music.
