Incorrect tag name 'Orchestra' in property 'tagCustom' - i2Paq - 04-05-2021 20:39
I have update tot Minimserver 2.0.18 on my QNAP TS-419P+.
It starts with and error "Incorrect tag name 'Orchestra' in property 'tagCustom'".
I know it is started because I can access it from my Sonos.
MinimWatch starts with the same error and shows a red icon.
What do I need to do to get it running normal.

If your tagCustom setting includes Orchestra, you need to have Orchestra in either the indexTags or itemTags property. Are you running MinimServer 2 Starter Edition (the installation default for MinimServer 2) or have you activated a trial or full license?

Hello Simon, I'm running the Minimserver 2 (2.0.18) Starter Edition on my Qnap, for now.
Looking at the Server-tab in Minimwatch it shows: Artist, Date, Genre, All Artists, Composer.
Could it be a left-over from the previous install?
Is there some place else I can check for the "tagCustom setting includes Orchestra"?

There is an unfortunate "catch 22" here. MinimServer 2 Starter Edition is trying to migrate your tagCustom setting from MinimServer 0.8 but this is failing because Orchestra is not present in indexTags or itemTags and you are unable to add it because you are running Starter Edition.
The solution is to change MinimServer so that it doesn't attempt to migrate tagCustom when Starter Edition is running. I will include this change in the next MinimServer update but this will not be available for at least two weeks.
In the interim, the only solution I can offer is for you to activate the free 30-day trial license. This should enable MinimServer to start correctly.

I de-installed the 2.0.18 and removed all the files. Restarted my Nas and re-installed 2.0.18.
Problem solved!
Thanks for the offer and I would love to try the 30-day trail!

To activate the free 30-day trial, follow the instructions in step 4 of "Installing MinimServer 2" on this page.
Because you have deleted your configuration files, this will not restore your previous MinimServer configuration settings including your migrated tagCustom setting. If you can remember your previous settings, you can configure them using MinimWatch after you have activated the trial.
