Albums that previously played gappless (classical) are now playing with gaps. I use the non 2 version of Minimserve on my Qnap Nas over a Linn Sneaky DS player

Gapless playback is controlled by your renderer and control point. It is fully supported by MinimServer (all versions) if the renderer and control point implement it correctly. Which renderer and control point are you using?
