Hi, I want to activate MinimServer on a 30 day trial on QNAP TS-251D but although I have followed the instructions to install either manually or app installation when I click the Open button for the MinimServer package I do not get a license a dialog.

What do you get when you click the Open button?

This means that either MinimServer is not running or there is a firewall blocking access. Are you running a firewall on the QNAP?

MinimServer is running on lumin app because 2 sample albums are discovered. I am not running a firewall. I operate FRITZ BOX 7490 modem/router. Since MinimServer is a QNAP app does not have to grant special permission to operate or should?

Router discovers the "server name" QNAP tagged with minimserver, so "MinimServer-name QNAP" (is the name discovers on my router) and all the permissions for independent port sharing have been granted.

I have checked the log files and see nothing error message

The MinimServer configuration web page is accessed using port 9790. If something is blocking this port, this would explain why you can't open the page. MinimServer doesn't need any special permissions to allow access to this web page.

In your web browser, open a new tab and type http://x.x.x.x:9790 in the address bar, where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the NAS. This should open the MinimServer configuration page. The device running the web browser needs to be on the same local subnet as the NAS.

If I open a 9790 port to router?
