Minim won't work X2, W7 and QNAP - Mr. J - 09-08-2020 21:37
I downloaded and installed Minim on both my W7 and my QNAP. I followed the installation instructions to a tee. I tried both the old version and the new version on the W7 machine. I made sure Java was installed.
I used the QNAP app button to install on the NAS unit.
Minim will not start up on either machine. Again, I went through the installation pages word for word, again nothing works.

Please explain which of the numbered steps in the instructions (for either QNAP or Windows) did not work as described and exactly what happened. It's probably best to tackle either QNAP or Windows first (your choice) and move to the second when the first is working.

OK, thanks. Scratch all that for W7. I thought your program was something different. I see now that another server needs to access MinimServer. I'll work on that for a bit.
Will get back to you on the QNAP.
