invoke rescan via ssh - gustavo - 17-07-2020 16:43 Hi, i have a very simple question to which I couldn't find an answer after one hour of searching. I have checked https://minimserver.com/ug-control.html#Controlling%20MinimServer%20using%20console%20commands but I don't understand how to use them. Maybe that feedback is helpfull. so, here is my situation: I am running minimserver2 on qnap and minimwatch2 on a Debian VM. I would like do something like 'mscript rescan' to start a rescan manually from my mobile phone using a ssh connection to my debian vm. please give me the correct command. many thanks. RE: invoke rescan via ssh - simoncn - 17-07-2020 18:19 The command is: echo rescan | ddd/minimwatch/bin/mscript -a x.x.x.x where ddd is the full path to the directory where MinimWatch is installed and x.x.x.x is the IP address of your QNAP NAS. RE: invoke rescan via ssh - gustavo - 17-07-2020 18:44 fantastic! many thanks for the speedy reply. |
