NAS problem - swdick - 05-03-2020 18:41

I have been using Minimserver for years without problems I use a DS213j NAS and Kazoo on my android 10 phone. Now however I am in the process of scanning my CD collection. I have ripped and tagged some 20 CD's all in the same directory as the old ones.
I have restarted Minimserver, and rescanned but withoout succes. Also refreshed the datalocation. The new files are not found on my Windows PC using Kazoo.

On my Android phone I can see the Minimserver (Klassieke Muziek) but I get the message in Kazoo: Failed to load content. The Minimicon is green and Minimserver is running. I can see and play music files that are served by the Audio Station of the NAS, the connection must be working.

Any help will be appreciated.

Have you checked the MinimServer log for error messages?

I ripped the cd's with DbPoweramp and edited the tags with Mp3tag. I can play the files with Windows Media Player.

I suggest you do a full MinimServer rescan. To do this, set the startupScan property to full, then select Rescan from MinimWatch. After this, do you still get the "0$=Composer$!13$10630 isn't a valid object" message?

I did that and get the same error:

Thanks for trying this. This message means you have a UPnP control point that has an out-of-date local cache containing this incorrect object ID. I hoped the full rescan would cause the control point to reload its cache but this has not happened. To find out out which control point is causing this, you could try closing all your control points one by one until the messages stop.

RE: NAS problem - swdick - 06-03-2020 17:04

Do you mean the Kazoo instances?
I emptied the cache on my Android phone.
Don't know how to in Windows.

RE: NAS problem - swdick - 06-03-2020 17:12

Emptying cache on the phone wasn't enough. I had to remove all data.
Now it's working again and seeing all the new files too.

Thanks a lot for the support!

RE: NAS problem - simoncn - 06-03-2020 18:53

Is this a cache in Kazoo? I wan't aware that Kazoo uses a cache.
