Hi - This is a very basic question! I am using an old version of Minimserver (0.8.5.3 update 133). When I update to the newest version will my configuration settings under Properties be carried through into the updated version or will I have to reset these once Minimserver is updated?

Which platform (Windows/Mac/Linux or NAS make and model) are you using to run MinimServer?

Hi Simon - I am using Windows 10 PC running Minimwatch, with Minimserver running on NAS Synology DS 118

The latest version of MinimServer available for the Synology DS118 is MinimServer 0.8.5.3 update 134. When you install update 134, all your settings will be preserved.

Thanks Simon - just to clarify, is this the version "MinimServer 0.8 update 134", that is the latest version in the Release Notes?
If I carry out the installation via my PC will this push the installation to my NAS?
Will Minimwatch also be automatically updated to the latest version on my PC?
Apologies for all the questions, but I'm relatively new to this!

Yes, the version "MinimServer 0.8 update 134" is the latest version in the Release Notes.
MinimServer should update automatically to update 134 the next time you start it, unless you have disabled automatic updates. If you want to update MinimServer without restarting it, you can select About from MinimWatch, then select 'Show updates' and follow the prompts. Even though you are using MinimWatch on your PC to do the update, the update actually happens on the NAS.
MinimWatch has not been updated since December, so you are probably already on the latest version (update 64).

I have not updated Minimwatch in the last few months so will do this also
