I recently swapped my Ropiee (roon endpoint software for the pi) in preference of RopieeXL which turns the pi not only acting as a roon endpoint but also dlna/upnp.
Works ok as long as I do select tracks from within Minim being of 16/44.1
Everything above results in distorted sound, likely asking for a transcoding?
But I'm lost somehow. Tried a couple of things the past days ... no way.
Setup: MinimServer on a Syno, Pi with Kali reclocker and Allo piano 2.1 DAC.
Any idea where to look next?

It sounds like RopieeXL cannot handle UPnP/DLNA audio streamed at a higher resolution than 16/44.1. This is not a Minimserver issue.

Likely, have to get back to the author .... since yes *:wav16;44 works ok.
Update: solved ... Simon you were right .. a slightly modified config on RopieeXL solved the trick.
