Tray icon in Ubuntu 18.10 - cerbaire - 29-10-2018 19:13 Hello, I was using MinimServer and MinimWatch successfully under Ubuntu 18.04, installing TopIcons Plus to get icons in the tray. Since I upgraded to Ubuntu 18.10, error message at MinimServer launch says it cannot create tray icon and I can't use MinimServer anymore (I surely can launch it by command line). Any clue ? Nicolas RE: Tray icon in Ubuntu 18.10 - simoncn - 29-10-2018 21:22 I will install Ubuntu 18.10 and investigate this in the next few days. As an interim workaround, you can run MinimServer as a daemon background process by using the startd command (see this section). RE: Tray icon in Ubuntu 18.10 - simoncn - 31-10-2018 15:45 This is working for me. I installed TopIcons Plus for GNOME Shell 3.30 from this page. |
