Hello. I just bought Synology DS118 at Amazon and noticed that minim server is missing for this model on Add-on packages on sinology.com. On the other hand minim server can be manually downloaded.
Will it run properly on this DS118 NAS? Thanks.

According to this Section your Nas has an ARMv8 processor and should run Minimserver.

According to this Section your Nas has an ARMv8 processor and should run Minimserver.
Thank you. I am just wondering why it is not supported by synology.com.

I sent this file to Synology on 30th January asking them to make it available in the Package Center. So far, they have not responded.

I was afraid it will not work on my NAS.
I should receive the ds118 by mail next Friday.

I also have a DS118 and it is working well with MinimServer. It is fast and quiet and I am very pleased with it.

Thanks. This is what I bought it for to play flac music files. I am not going to use it for anything else.
