What is the best way to backup and restore the config file on Synology?

I suggest you do the following.
To back up:
1) Stop MinimServer from the Package Center
2) Copy the minimserver.config file from the MinimServer/appData folder to a backup location
3) Restart MinimServer from the Package Center
To restore:
1) Stop MinimServer from the Package Center
2) Copy the minimserver.config file from the backup location to the MinimServer/appData folder
3) Restart MinimServer from the Package Center

Make sense and this is exactly what I did after a recent crash. The issue I had was that minimserver was complaining about missing music directory even though the config file had one. I ended up starting from scratch.
