Hello all
I have a Synology DS716II+ with 2G of RAM
Would I notice a difference if I go to 8G of RAM ? And if so, at what moment ? (Rescan, transcode, stream, etc..)

(PS everyday I am amazed at the extreme quality of minimserver. If only all other components of my music environment were at that level..)

The only difference with 4x the amount of RAM is that you would be able to have a library with 4x the number of tracks/albums. If you are not getting "out of memory" messages with your current setup, adding RAM will not make any difference.
