Memory reserved by Minimserver - ac16161 - 02-05-2017 20:07

Installed Minimserver on a Synology 416play this weekend and at idle Minimserver is taking 93MB of RAM. Is this in line with expectations?

This depends on the size of your library. I don't think 93MB is excessive on a NAS that has 1GB of RAM.

Sounds pretty normal, mine is at 104 this morning with an 840gb/~24k track library.

Thanks, seems to be rather more than the same library requires on a 214+, which is why it caught my attention. Not a problem, but found this curious.

The DS214play has an Intel CPU and the DS214+ has an ARM CPU. This probably accounts for the difference.
