Cant update Minimwatch - billg - 01-03-2016 10:28
I tried to update to minimwatch-0.8-update-38 on my PC . But it fails and I get the message "Download resource not found minimui-0.8.211.jar"
I have minimserver.com allowed through the firewall.

I just tried this and it is working OK for me. Perhaps there was a temporary issue with the download server when you tried. Can you try it again now?

This seems to be related to the problem you reported in this post. Is it the same Windows 10 desktop machine that is producing the current error? If so, there is likely to be some problem with this machine (perhaps a firewall or antivirus protection).

OK. Since I last posted I can't see any package at all in the list of available packages any more. minimwatch-0.8-update-34 is in the list of installed packages.
I turned off the firewalls (Bitdefender and Windows) and restarted minimwatch. I still can't see the minimwatch-0.8-update-38 package to install.
I'll try again in a while.

For some reason, the machine running MinimWatch is unable to contact the update server. Is this the same Windows 10 desktop machine that was causing problems some time ago?

Yes its the same one. But my laptop shows minimwatch-0.8-update-38 is installed on it. Could there be some issue with it on 2 machines?

The current update level is update 38, so the laptop is OK. The issue is with the desktop machine only.
