Hi,
dsf:dopwav - transcoding problem.
when i try to stream DSD file, dsf format from minim server.
it comes to my player Onkyo C-N5070 or Hegel H160.
and it shows format 24bit/176.4kbit/s but no sounds from players. like no D/A conversion.
but when I convert:
2) flac:wav24;176
3) dsf:wav24;176
everything is OK,
means players/renderers support 24/176 format.
does anyone has similar problem? is dsf:dopwav correctly supported by minim server?

Works ok for me. Dsf:dopwav shows as DoP 24/176.4 in Bubble DS Next and plays as dsd. If the source is DSD128 it trancodes to DoP 24/352.8 and plays fine also. I'm not familiar with either dac you mention so i'm no help there

This means your Onkyo player doesn't support DoP and is playing the DoP-encoded stream as if it were a regular WAV PCM stream.

do you intend to have a solution to transcode dop files with minimstreamer ?
Foobar with a plugin SACD decoder could be a solution ?
I imagine the same kind of solution for MinimStreamer...

You can transcode DSF files to WAV (PCM) using MinimStreamer if you have a recent version of ffmpeg installed on the machine that is running MinimServer. What machine are you using for this?
